Drop-In Open House Sessions

Community members are invited to attend one of these sessions to learn about the sustainability plan development process and draft recommendations and provide feedback.

Ride Go Wake Forest microtransit for free to an open house session. Please note the following conditions:

  • Rides must be requested between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to or from the Wake Forest Community House and between 5 and 8 p.m. to or from the Wake Forest Center for Active Aging.
  • No code needed - rides requested during the specified windows and to or from the specified locations above will automatically be free
  • The free rides are extended to +1s (additional riders added at the time of booking a ride)
  • New riders will need to set up an account either on the Go Wake Forest app or by phone – read more about getting set up at Go Wake Forest
  • Open house attendees who walk, bike, use transit (including Go Wake Forest) or carpool to a session can enter a raffle to win Downtown Dollars

Sustainability Plan Open House Sessions

Wake Forest will host Sustainability Plan Open House sessions at the Wake Forest Center for Active Aging on Thursday, Dec. 4, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. These drop-in sessions will give community members the opportunity to learn more about the process of creating a Sustainability Plan, ask questions, and share their thoughts and opinions. 

Town staff and representatives from Blue Strike Environmental will be on hand to answer questions and gather public input.
